One Geek's quest to get better at gaming

The Game? Skyrim - should take me quite a while to get through it, this game's expansive. 

Currently a level 16, taken out about 6-7 dragons ... but only two of those were on my own, and those only after I switched the game difficulty to "Novice" - hence the blog name. I got up to about level 7 or 8 before dying so many times I just about threw the controller away. Then came the advice: since I hadn't played in almost 10 years (and was terrible then), why not change the difficulty? I am a novice, why not play as one? Instant confidence booster.

I still die, but not with the alarming frequency that I did before. As I get better, I may readjust the difficulty, but as it stands now I'm thoroughly enjoying kicking a small amount of ass. Keep you posted on progress!
