Most recent completed quest: Forbidden Legend (Reforge the Gauldur Amulet)

Pardon the radio silence, I had a friend in town from Seattle and work like crazy - been gaming in like 30 minute increments.

The most recent quest I completed was the Forbidden Legend Quest - the three Gauldur brothers, collecting the broken pieces of the amulet, reforging it into one kick-ass piece of kit. But sweet Lord, when they took me on, one right after the other? Hardest fight I've had so far. My boyfriend was messing with his phone, I had to stop him to keep an eye on my M\H\S bars so I didn't die. I went through 10-15 health potions, 5-6 stamina, and just as many magicka potions before that fight was over. Maybe other people didn't think it was quite such a beast of a quest, but ... for me, it basically kicked my ass.

I also completed the Diplomatic Immunity quest recently, finding out that basically no one knows anything about the dragons coming back. Reeeeaaaalll productive. It's trying to push me in the direction of the Theives Guild quest, but ... you all know how I feel about that. I'm holding off on it, but at this point I'm basically bogged down by Thieves Guild quest items.

Oh, also, I'm basically at 100% Elven - armor, helmet, boots, gauntlets, warhammer, bow ... Lean and mean.

The next quest at hand it re-attempting to enter Labyrinthian, to retrieve the Staff of Magnus. I took the long way around, so that I could stop in Morthal, where someone told me I wasn't looking too good - turned out to be Bone Break Fever. Not sure what I caught it from, but it might explain why that last fight was so tough and why my stamina's been running out so quickly - it's gone now, and I'm continuing to Labyrinthian.

Frostbite spider, mudcrab, some butterflies, some supplies ... Frost Troll! Fire Thu'um and a little bit of flame magic took care of that - not even a scratch! Ah crap, another one - same deal, but I got hit a few times first, boo. Thank you Fire Breath Thu'um!

... Savos Aren is here, as a ghost - kinda grumpy, but, you know, dead and all - along with a few other ghosts. They won't really talk to me. Wow, corpses everywhere inside ... the ground is littered with them.  There's a door with a ton of skeleton's behind it - tried to blast them through the gate, but no luck. Oh crap, dragon skeleton! So one dragon, and 8 skeletons ... crazy, but doable. The dragon skeleton had FIVE dragon bones on it (though technically it probably has more), so it's a good thing I brought my light armor set. Apparently one of the ghosts 'died' back there, though I'm not sure how since they weren't there fighting with me.

Ah crap! Something just drained almost all of my magicka! Deep scary voice. Oooo, frost spirit! Kicked your ass. Dammit! That voice again, and again almost all of my magicka, gone. Three more draugurs down, level up! Whoo! Increase health, and save my one point for Archery - I'm at 29, and I need 30 for eagle eye.

Still going down.

Holy shit. Ebony shield!
